Beach combing is possibly my all time favourite pastime.
The beaches on the coast of Essex are so different to those in Wales.
If the sands were compared to lawns Ynys Las in Wales could win the prize best unkempt lawn, whilst Frinton in Essex has an understated elegance and is more akin to a bowling green. I love them both in their own way. Frinton for sauntering, people watching and plodding along. Ynyslas for full on beach combing, so much driftwood, fish boxes, floats galore and lots of interest in a completeley different way.
Did I take shell? What do you think?
