Mr Moo

Max (or Mr Moo as I liked to call him) sadly passed away in the summer of 2015. He had been ill with thyroid tumour for 15 months. Despite that he had a full and very happy life in those last months. Joining us on our move to Austria where he had lots of adventures in the snow and sunshine of the Alps.

We truly miss him and were very blessed to have him share our lives. He taught me patientce, perserverance and tenacity and the true meaning of living in the moment.

When it hurts to look back and you're scared to look ahead, look beside you and your best friend will be there.

Meet Mr Moo, his full and official title is Primus Licence to Thrill and he really does live up to his name. His pet name is Max but for some reason it evolved to Max the Moose and then eventually Mr Moo. I think it suits him just fine.

Mr Moo is an 8  year old blue Great Dane, he hails from Primus Danes in Stockport and he has been a fine and furry friend to me since he the day he hung onto my coat tails at the kennel. How could I resist a  face like that. I will have lots of posts and descriptions of his adventures for you coming in over the next few months. He does get himself into some scrapes at times too. Oh, and if you hadnt already guessed from that picture up there, he loves to pose. Which can only be a good thing as I always have my camera to hand. But more about the photography elsewhere.

  1. Gorgeous dog! I’ve always loved big dogs and had a soft spot for Great Dane’s – they just seem so intelligent and understanding.
